Start your adventure in the DPRK by celebrating May Day alongside the locals. Explore the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), enjoy the ancient Korean capital, Kaesong, and discover the charm of Sariwon.
A domestic flight will transport us to the northeastern part of the country, a region rarely explored by tourists. Our journey will lead us to Chongjin, the 'City of Iron,' which is the third-largest city in the DPRK. From there, we'll embark on a fascinating trip to Rason Special Economic Zone.
After exploring Rason, we'll cross the DPRK/Russia border by train through the Tumangang/Khasan border point - a route taken by only six passenger trains each month. The border crossing via the Korean−Russian Friendship Bridge is a truly breathtaking experience. From the railway bridge, we'll have a clear view of the unique Tri border area, where Russian, North Korean, and Chinese borders converge at a single point.
Finally, we'll reach Vladivostok, the capital of the Russian Far East. On May 9th in Vladivostok, we'll have the opportunity of attending the Victory Day Military Parade, commemorating the 79th anniversary of the Soviet Union's victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII), one of Russia's most significant national holidays.
During this trip, you will also have the optional opportunity to embark on the PYONGYANG AIR CITY TOUR - a 40-minute flight aboard an Air Koryo Mi-17 helicopter. This exceptional experience provides a unique bird's-eye perspective of Pyongyang, granting you numerous outstanding photo opportunities. If you wish to include this option in your itinerary, kindly inform us when booking your tour.
